Flashlight tolerance is precise. A tiny difference in thread size, circuit version or sealing ring thickness will make a spare part fail to fit or break waterproof performance.
If you install a replacement part incorrectly, or mix old and new batch components and then get customer complaints, the factory faces disputes over who takes responsibility. Many suppliers choose not to provide spare parts at all, to avoid endless quality arguments.
